League FAQ
Before Registration
Are doubles leagues offered?
No, all Baseline in-house leagues are currently singles only.
What is the schedule of play like?
Each league session is 10-15 weeks in length with 1-4 bye weeks. The regular weekly schedule will be based on a round robin format (each team will play each other for at least 8 matches). The final 3 weeks of each league will be in a tournament format to determine the league champion. Each team is guaranteed to play 10 matches through the session.
Can match dates and times be rescheduled or changed?
No, under no circumstances can matches be rescheduled.
Match dates and use of bye weeks?
Before the schedule is made, you may request up to 2 bye weeks by contacting the league coordinator. League staff does its best to accommodate all requests provided they are received in a timely manner.
If I can only make some of the matches, can I still join a league?
Yes, players are strongly encouraged to have a sub or second player on their team who can fill in for some matches. There is also some flexibility built in the scheduling with the use of bye weeks.
How flexible are match times?
Match times are set for 7-8:30am and 12:05-1:30pm. If court time is not available after these times, players may contact the league coordinator to try and schedule a time to finish the match.
